CampusBookRentals.com and Rentback.com is making college a lot cheaper!

Do you know how much an average college text book costs? Well it's freaking crazy that much I can tell you! I really like the service Campus Book Rentals and they've recently released a new program called RentBack to help students get even more for their purchased text books when they are finished with them!

A friend told me about the Campus Book Rentals site so I decided to investigate a little more! I had the chance to talk to a representative from CampusBookRentals.com who gave me lots of info to share with you guys.  I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the service they are offering.

Basically how the program works is you order the textbook you need from a nearly limitless selection. You can order online or you can find them at more than 5,000 college campuses. You can rent by the semester, quarter, or summer. The rental periods are completely flexible and you can easily extend your rental at a deep discount. When your finished with your book you just slip it into the prepaid envelope provided and send it back!

Some of the great features of renting through CampusBookRentals.com are:

  • You will typically save 40-90% off of normal bookstore prices!
  • You get free shipping both ways!
  • You can highlight in the textbooks you rent!
  • They offer flexible renting periods including if you drop a class or don't need the book any longer!
  • They donate to Operation Smile with each textbook rented

Here's an example of the savings with the book The World of Psychology:

Here is a short video describing how Campus Book Rentals works!

Campus Book Rentals has also come out with a new service called RentBack at www.RentBack.com where instead of selling your purchased books back when you're done with them you can rent them out to other students! This actually allows you to make 2-4x more money than just straight up selling them back to the school or wherever you got them!

It's difficult to explain but again I've got another cool video from them that will tell you all about www.RentBack.com

Overall I think this program is really a fantastic benefit to any college student. You can really use the textbooks like they were your own but you only have to pay a fraction of the cost! Then if you find they don't have the exact book you need (VERY rare) you can even rent that book that you purchased to other students and make money from it. WIN WIN!!!

I also want to say a big thanks to the people over at Campus Book Rentals and RentBack. Not only did they introduce me to the incredible organization Operation Smile they are also contributing to my own medical expenses by sponsoring this post! You guys rule! Thank you so much for helping me out during my time of need! I genuinely wish that more companies gave back to the community like you do!
